Been a while since I've been on line here, we have been busy with our new store and business.
2012 was a big disappointment. 1. We were out of the area for a trade show 2 days prior to Halloween no time to set up. 2. Well, the weather SUCKED! 2013 our trade show was moved up 2 weeks!, gives us some time to set up. If the weather holds were are golden!. Unfortunately our display is weather sensitive, so as long as the weather holds we are going to go for it. Be nice to find a sheltered venue in town to set up I am very sorry, to the folks that came out Friday and found our lights were off, our computer updated it's self and in the process of course the program for the lights did not activate as it should have.
As soon as I got home around 7pm I quickly got us up and running, Again from LOL please accept out apo Well we are up and running, Still trying to trouble shoot some new items we tried to add this year. But so far folks have been stopping by and enjoying the display.
I love seeing folks out front enjoying and having a good time, and hopefully we can bring a little Christmas Spirit to all Merry Christ First off I want to say sorry to all the folks that were hopping for us to light up on the 8th.
My regular Job has been crazy busy, short staffed 12 hour shifts and lots of them have simply put us WAY Behind. We got a late start as we are also launching a new company, So basically 2 full time jobs. We weren't even sure if we could get our display up this year, but a lot of folks had expressed hope that we would pull it off. So we are Trying. Plus Cash is always tight, but we are working hard to pull it off. Friday we will be out installing the control systems and more lights, we figure close to 1800 feet of extension cords will be installed. 600 feet of computer cabling, Again we look forward to seeing you around, Andy Lights on Lawton Been a while since I updated, We've been busy working on getting the bits and pieces, and planned our 2012 shows, We will be introduction some new technologies (to us anyways) to Halloween and Christmas, I know I;m going to have a lot fun, I will throw some teasers along the way, But we still have a ways to go yet L.O.L
I've been getting Texts and BBM's LOL made the must see list over at BIG 105FM and we are honoured. I wish I had heard it. I guess there was quite a bit of chatter over our show.
Apparently we were all the Chatter on Big 105 this morning. I didn't hear it personally but Apparently we were a big hit with the DJ's www.lightsonlawton.weebly.com From the Big 105's Facebook page! Where are the best Christmas light displays in town? We've spotted a few gorgeous houses in Lancaster, plus a really nice one backing onto 32nd in Deer Park, and the "Grinch" house in Bower if you follow the road that goes behind the mall. We can't forget the VonHollen house in Rocky either, definitely worth the drive, and same with the Lights on Lawton Avenue in Blackfalds, set to the tune of music! We added a little more bling to the display, Vertigo Tri LED adds a little zing. Con
Well the 90kph winds are causing major damage to the display. All we can do right now is watch. Going to take some time to fix the mess.
UPDATE: Everything is now repaired and we should be up and running tonight. Testing went well last night, we found a couple strings that will need repair. Posted a few videos here and on youtube. Search Blackfalds Christmas
